For an indie studio, Intrepid is doing quite well for itself! They just signed on a whole slew of new people and now have over 100 employees working on the development team for “Ashes of Creation!” This includes people recruited from as far away as France and Malaysia!
Even now, the San Diego studio is looking to fill 21 new positions over the next few weeks. If you have experience in design or programming, you might want to cash in on this up and coming game!

- Michael Roca – Senior Gameplay Programmer (Formerly of Disney, Daybreak, SOE, and EA)
- Grat Crabtree – Senior Software Engineer (Formerly of Daybreak and SOE)
- Devin Lafontaine – Senior Artist (Formerly Daybreak, SOE, Sigil Games)
- Tad Ehrlich – Senior Artist (Formerly, Daybreak, SOE, Midway Games)
- Garrett Fern – Senior Game Designer (Formerly Daybreak and SOE)
- Zin Chiang – Senior Producer (Formerly Travian Games and Publishing)
- Midori Bond – Executive Assistant (Formerly Senior GM and Customer Service at SOE)
Intrepid Studios has also announced today that July will be the last month for Alpha 1 sales of “Ashes of Creation.” Right now, over eight thousand people have purchased Alpha 1-level access. Intrepid wants to cap their participation at ten thousand for the sake of testing. That being said, the Alpha 1 pack will be exchanged for another type of pack at the end of the month. While it does not include Alpha 1 access, Intrepid promises that the package will include plenty of perks.

As for the game itself, Alpha 1 — Phase 1 is still on schedule for the fourth quarter, 2018 release!
