Last month, the Games with Gold titles were leaked prior to the official announcement by Major Nelson and the Microsoft staff. Although the titles were considered less than stellar by the Xbox Live community because of the targeted age range of the games and the lack of blockbuster titles, July 2018’s Games with Gold offer will provide a memorable co-op experience. Xbox Live Gold members still have the opportunity to download the Smite Gold Bundle (99.99) for free until July 15th. July 2018’s Games with Gold offer will provide Xbox Live Gold members with two indie game titles for the Xbox One and two triple AAA titles coming out of the vault for Xbox 360 and Xbox One users.
Although the July 2018 Games with Gold offer may seem rather lackluster by name sake but Sam Fisher and the Virtua Fighting crew have plans to eliminate all nay Sayers and reign in the uncompelled gold members. During July, Xbox Live Gold members will have the opportunity to download Assault Android Cactus, Death Squared, Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown, and Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Conviction with a valid Xbox Live Gold membership.
Starting on July 1st, Xbox Live Gold members can download Assault Android Cactus and Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown for free. Assault Android Cactus ($14.99 ERP) throughout the month of July. Play as a Robocop who is trying to protect his spaceship from enemies in a twin-stick shooter. Choose between local co-op or play with friends online, as players blast throw beautiful levels that will leave a lingering impression. Also starting on July 1st is Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown($14.99 ERP) which will be free until July 15th. Prove that you are the best warrior in the universe as you sidestep your way through killer combos and a fury of blows.
Starting on July 16th, Gold members will have the opportunity to download Death Squared ($14.99 ERP) an explosive robot puzzler. Play with friends locally or online as you attempt to solve a variety of unique puzzles ranging from elementary to Einstein genius level. Death Squared will be free until August 15th. Last but certain not least is Ubisoft smash hit Splinter Cell Conviction ($19.99 ERP) a co-op shooter or a murder mystery. Help Sam Fisher discover the truth behind his daughter’s murder and bring those behind it to justice. Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Conviction will be free to download until July 31st.
July 2018’s Games with Gold offer may not sound amazing by namesake but after looking at the titles more thoroughly, July will be a great month for Co-Op gamers around the world. All Games with Gold titles are yours to keep after free purchase. You must be an Xbox Live Gold member to be eligible for these offers. All Xbox 360 titles are eligible to play on the Xbox One and the 360 through backwards compatibility.
