August has just begun and you know that means, free PlayStation games!
PlayStation has been killing it this year with their PlayStation Plus free game lineup. We’ve already seen games such as Rime, Bloodborne, XCOM2 and more grace our devices. That left many of us hopeful for August’s lineup and PlayStation surely did not disappoint!
This month’s PlayStation Plus lineup includes:
- Mafia III, PS4
Mafia III is an action-adventure game set in the late 1960’s. Players follow the story of Lincoln Clay, a Vietnam War veteran, as he seeks vengeance against those who murdered his surrogate family.
- Dead by Daylight, PS4
This survival horror game has proven to be a fan favorite since its release in 2016. In this multiplayer 1vs4 thriller, players take on the role of either a ruthless killer or his prey, the survivors. The killer’s goal is to hunt down the survivors and the survivor’s goal is stealthily navigate the map, evade the killer, and escape with their lives.
- Knowledge is Power, PS4
This fast paced trivia game is made to keep players and their opponents on their toes. Those who are up to the challenge will face a variety of trivia questions and tactile challenges designed to test their knowledge, speed and accuracy. Remember that in this game, Knowledge is Power.
- Bound by Flame, PS3
So this is what it’s like to be possessed by a merciless demon. In this RPG, the player is responsible for determining their fate. Every action has a consequence and it is up to the player to decide whether to fight and regain their humanity, or succumb to the beast within.
- Serious Sam 3 BFE, PS3
If you’re looking for a hardcore old-school first person shooter, then look no further! Serious Sam 3 BFE has got you covered. The difficulty is high and progression relies on complete enemy decimation.
- Drew Slasher, PS Vita
Oh no! Hanzo the ninja’s family has been kidnapped! It’s up to Hanzo to jump, dash, dodge and slash his way through hordes of Pirate Monkey Zombies in order to free his family.
- Space Hulk, PS Vita
Set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe, this epic turn based strategy allows for 1-2 players to take control and pave the way for legendary battles.
- Here They Lie, PS VR
Become immersed in this unsettling horror experience where death is not a checkpoint. Players are surrounded by a surreal and inescapable world full of strange encounters and an environment that comes to life.
