EA Is Making a $1 Million Donation to Victims of the Jacksonville Shooting

Electronic Arts has released a statement today regarding the tragic events that occurred at the Madden Tournament in Jacksonville, FL this past weekend. It appears that EA has made a huge donation of $1 Million to support the victims of this terrible event, as well as the victim’s families. In addition to EA’s own donation, they are setting up a fund to further support the victims. “Contributions will go the victims, including the families of Taylor Robertson, Elijah Clayton, and all those were affected”

The company has been taking many strides to show their support, even cancelling the entire tournament in the wake. EA will also be hosting a Jacksonville Tribute Livestream of Madden, which hopes to bring the community together in light of what happened. To anyone who wishes to show support, EA will be hosting this livestream on Thursday, September 6.
