When Could Gen 4 Be Coming to Pokemon Go?

Earlier this week, the renowned Pokemon Go data Miner Chrales took to Twitter to reveal a new line of code that was discovered after the recent Pokemon Go update.  Below is the recent tweet that caused the  Pokemon Go community to get excited about the 4th Generation of Pokemon potentially coming to Pokemon Go before 2019. In the past, Niantic has released a new generation of Pokemon to Pokemon Go during Winter.  At the moment, Niantic is wrapping up its Summer tour of community events with the Safari Zone event in Yokosuka, but once the parties are said and done, could we see the release of the 4th generation of Pokemon before 2019?

The release of the Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum starter could be the ultra bonus that Niantic has teased as the reward for completing the Pokemon Go community challenges. Could the image released by Niantic’s social media account showing Chimchar, Turtwig, and Piplup relaxing alongside Aloan pokemon, faction leaders, the two trainers, and Professor Willow be the key to the ultra bonus or could it be a red herring?  Could the ultra bonus be Jirachi alongside the community quest for Celebi? If the ultra bonus is more than just the gen 4 starters, trainers should prepare to evolve Rhydon, Lickitung, Tangela, Magmar, and Electrabuzz alongside other Pokemon from Gen 2 and 3.

The 4th generation of Pokemon will introduce two new evolutions to Eevee as well as seven new baby Pokemon. With 107 new Pokemon potentially coming to Pokemon Go, trainers should prepare for at least 6 legendary raids and one special event.  So ultimately, the question is when will the fourth generation come to Pokemon Go?  We could see the first few Pokemon released as early as mid-September or during a Halloween inspired event similar to last year with the Gen 3 ghost and psychic types.  Instead of a ghost type event, could we see a rock type event signifying a bountiful harvest?
