Indie MEGABOOTH Announces 2019 Submissions Open!

Indie Mega Booth Pax West games announced

Time for developers to get their submissions ready. Indie MEGABOOTH today announced that submissions are now open for GDC 2019 and PAX East 2019! This represents a fantastic opportunity for indie devs to get their games out in front of huge audiences at two of the biggest spring events in North America.

First, some highlights of last year’s PAX East area.

Here at Marooners’ Rock, that particular Megabooth showed off a number of our favorite games for PAX East, including Above, Light Fall, Airships, Runner 3, and Destination Primus Vita. A total of one hundred games from twenty-one different countries were represented across the MEGABOOTH, MINIBOOTH, and TABLETOP areas in 2018. Who will be the stars of 2019?

Teams looking to submit a game for consideration, or interested in learning more about the submission process should visit http://indiemegabooth.com/about/submissions/. The organizers will be accepting submissions through 11:59pm (PST) on November 9th, 2018. The nominal submission fee is $50.00 USD per submission. Developers just missing the cutoff time also have the option to pay an additional fee to make a late submission through November 13th. After that, all submissions will be judged, and the final massive lineup will be hand-curated.

The first stop for those fortunate to make the lineup will be GDC. Scheduled for March 18-22, 2019 in San Francisco. The Indie MEGABOOTH will be showcasing a total of twenty-four games here, twelve titles on Monday and Tuesday, then twelve different titles for Wednesday through Friday.

Next the show backs up and heads to the other side of America and Boston. While PAX East 2019 hasn’t officially announced its dates yet, everyone is pretty certain that it’s going to be taking over the Boston Convention Center from March 28-31, 2019. Indie MEGABOOTH is planning to host its usual MEGABOOTH, MINIBOOTH, and TABLETOP areas highlighting indie games from around the world.
