The month of October is jam-packed with a variety of game releases that will appease most gamers. Last month, Xbox put out a less than stellar Games with Gold offer. From the games that were offered, Prison Architect reigned supreme. Although Lego Starwars III: The Clone Wars was also available through September 2018’s Games with Gold program, it provided rather little to the vast gaming community. Luckily October’s Games with Gold offer will fight off the inevitable arctic chill for a little bit longer.
October 2018’s Games with Gold offer allows players to live on the edge of their seats. Players will have to devise strategies to complete the challenges in a professional manner. Xbox Live Gold members will have the opportunity to choose between professions and live out their dreams of either being a chef, vampire hunter, stunt car driver, and an assassin for hire. The Games with Gold for October 2018 are Hitman: Blood Money, Overcooked, Stuntman: Ignition, and Victor Vran. Gold members still have the opportunity to download Livelock until October 16th.
Since October 1st, Xbox Live Gold members have had the opportunity to download Overcooked and Stuntman: Ignition for free. Overcooked puts players into chaotic kitchens in order to fulfill a variety of orders. Overcooked ($16.99), just like Overcooked 2, allows for 4 player Co-Op. Overcooked is free from October 1st to 31st and could make for a great Halloween party game. Stuntman: Ignition ($14.99) puts drivers into the role of Hollywood stuntman driver as they work through low-budget films to AAA blockbusters. Stuntman Ignition is free from October 1st to 15th.
Starting on October 16th, Xbox Live Gold will have the opportunity to download Victor Vran and Hitman: Blood Money. Victor Vran ($19.99) is a loot-based grinding RPG similar to that of Diablo 2 and Path Of Exile. Victor Vran will be free to download from October 16th to November 15th. Hitman: Blood Money ($19.99) is the second Hitman title to join the Games with Gold program and personally my favorite. Hitman: Blood Money takes assassins around the United States as Agent 47 looks to take out a lot of high-profile targets in beautiful environments. How will you take out your target at the Christmas party or at the Heaven and Hell Party? Hitman: Blood Money is free from October 16th to October 31st.
