Ready for some serious motorcycle customization? Today the folks at Milestone released a new video for Ride 3 showing off the game’s livery editor, plus information about special editions, a season pass, and free DLC.
The livery creator looks like something that players familiar with recent Forza games or The Crew 2 will be instantly familiar with. One of the most interesting bits in the video appeared to be some types of overlays, as seen on the BMW R Nine T around the 0:44 mark. Adding things like a rust patina is a really nice level of detail. It won’t be appreciated at speed, but it’ll look fantastic in screenshots.
With over two hundred and thirty different motorcycles available on launch in seven different categories, Ride 3 offers a huge variety of motorcycles for players to customize. The full motorcycle roster is a who’s who of manufacturers in the sport bike and racing world, and includes motorcycles from Aprilia, BMW, Ducati, Kawasaki, Triumph, Yamaha, and more.
Milestone’s future plans for Ride 3 are supported by their various tiers of physical and digital purchasing options for the game. Players can opt for a physical copy in either the Standard or Special Edition options, or a digital copy in Standard or Gold editions. Pre-orders are also available now, for both Standard and Gold editions.
For physical copies, the Special Edition includes a full season pass, and an exclusive Ducati Panigale V4 Steelbook. Gold digital versions include the Season Pass, Sports Bike pack, BMW R 1200 GS pack, and a credits multiplayer. Gold edition pre-orders get everything the Gold digital edition gets, plus a dynamic theme featuring the Ducati Panigale V4 (PS4 only), and three days early access.
The Ride 3 season pass is slated to include twelve premium DLCs, which will add an additional 120 events, thirty-six trophies/achievements, and sixty motorcycles to the base game. Twelve free DLCs will add twelve more motorcycles and sixty further events to the game.
Ride 3 will be released for Sony PlayStation®4, Microsoft Xbox One, and PCs (via Steam) on November 30th, 2018. Gamers interested in more information about the game should check out the official website, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram sites for Ride 3.
