Love it or hate it, Fallout 76 certainly has the Internet talking. The most recent controversy has come from a bag in the Power Armor Collector’s Edition. Originally advertised as a West-Tek canvas bag designed to hold the included T-51 Power Armor helmet replica, what instead shipped was a far flimsier, misshapen nylon duffle.
After initially apologizing and acknowledging that the nylon replacement was due to a lack of proper materials, Bethesda issued a conciliatory 500 Atoms, a form of digital in-game currency for Fallout 76, to all Power Armor Edition purchasers, further incensing the already virulent Internet community.
Bethesda has since then tweeted on December 3rd:
We are finalizing manufacturing plans for replacement canvas bags for the Fallout 76: Power Armor Edition. If you purchased the CE, please visit https://t.co/S5ClEZuQrx and submit a ticket by Jan. 31, 2019. We’ll arrange to send you a replacement as soon as the bags are ready.

I, for one, applaud Bethesda for rectifying this situation, albeit late and after multiple attempts. I also encourage the internet at large to, for once, quiet down and actually try to enjoy something. Fallout 76 is a fine, enjoyable game that quite a few of our staff even our reviewer has enjoyed. Hopefully, I’ll be able to play it again after I hold my breath and wait for the Internet to behave humanely. You can check out our review that Alex worked on by clicking here.
