The Division 2 Private Beta Date Revealed

The Division 2 Private Beta Date Revealed

Since its gameplay reveal at E3 2018, The Division 2 has left fans of the series craving more. The game is scheduled to be released on March 15, 2019, just a little over a year after its official announcement. The Division 2 takes place seven months after the events of the first game and will be a battle for survival. Although the game does not launch til march, gamers will have the opportunity to try out the game in the private beta.

According to Ubisoft, The Division 2‘s Private Beta is scheduled to run from February 7th to February 10th.  Gamers who have pre-ordered the game will be granted access to the upcoming beta. For individuals who have not pre-order the game, there is an opportunity to register on Ubisoft’s Division 2 page. Signing up for Beta access on the Division page does not guarantee access, but invitations will be set out depending on space availability. Gamers have the opportunity to pick what platform they want to play the private beta on.

Alongside the Private Beta date announcement, a new story trailer was released depicting different factions agents will have to fight in order to regain DC territory. Although the trailer depicts only three agents working together, the E3 demo had 4 man squadrons work together to clear out the zone. New weapons can be seen in the trailer which offers more adaptability while clearing out hostile territory.  At the end of the trailer, a menacing presence is depicted stating, “terminate any division agent with extreme prejudice.” This rival faction might be the overarching nemesis that division agents will face in The Division 2.

How will division agents make their mark across Washington DC How will The Division 2 differ based off how it is played whether on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4? Will some of the E3 demo be a part of the Private Beta in February?
