February 2019 Games with Gold Revealed

Love and fireworks are in the air. Although February is typically known as the month of Valentine’s Day and Chinese New Year, Xbox and Microsoft look to assist individuals participating on Single Awareness month with February 2019’s Games with Gold offer. Xbox Live Gold members can still download WRC 6 for free until February 15th.

Last month, Xbox Live Gold members had the opportunity to purchase Celeste, WRC6, Lara Croft: Guardian of Light, and Far Cry 2 for free. January 2019’s Game with Gold offer marks the 2nd time that Lara Croft: Guardian of Light has been offered as a Game with Gold title; to many, this offer seemed like a slap in the face or lazy planning by Microsoft.

February 2019’s Games with Gold offer will feature Assassin’s Creed Rogue, Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon, SUPER BOMBERMAN R, and Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy.

On Xbox One, Xbox Live Gold members can download Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon ($9.99 ERP) for free during the month of February. SUPER BOMBERMAN R ($39.99 ERP) will be available as a free download from February 16th to March 15th.

On Xbox 360, starting February 1st, Assassin’s Creed Rogue ($29.99 ERP) will be free for Xbox Live Gold members through February 15th. Then on February 16th, Xbox Live Gold Members can download Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy ($9.99 ERP) for free through February 28th.

Since the start of the Games with Gold program, the Assassin’s Creed franchise has been a support in its foundation with over six titles being offered. Assassin’s Creed Rogue is often overlooked as part of the franchise due to its Xbox 360 release. At the tail end of February, Xbox Live Gold members will have the opportunity to jump into Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy. Hopefully, Microsoft has been able to update the visual effects for Jedi Knight.

What Games with Gold title stands out the most? What title are you excited to play? What title would you like to see as a part of the Games with Gold program?
