I have quite a few friends who enjoy knitting, but alas I have no clue how to myself. This doesn’t include my girl often during her downtime is knitting socks, scarves, hats, sweaters, and toys. Over the years she’s made a few things for me that I still wear today. While she often posts about her work on Instagram and Facebook she found out about a new Kickstarter that was about to happen called Knitting The Card Game. While we play a handful of tabletop games, what else awesome information could come out to a new card game?
Today you’ll be able to help back the game on Kickstarter and at this time of writing they’ve already raised over $6,200 out of the $12,000 goal. What is Knitting The Card Game about? Knitting – The Card Game is oozing with fun knitting terminology, beautiful photos from fiber artists and game mechanics that mirror knit life. Play this with your non-knitter friends and family to give them a peek into your fiber-y world or play with other knitters and meta game while knitting on patterns in real life that are also in the game to earn extra points.
I’m pretty sure just the announcement that the Kickstarter is live today, will have a few of my writers heading on over to back this because of our significate others knitting. Now as you see above the game will include quite a bit. This will provide you the players a decent amount of game-time when you get your hands on the game. With the estimated date of items being sent July 2019, I know Erin will be counting the days. This is Moonrover Games first time at a game, but personally as someone who has backed quite a bit of Kickstarters. They’ve done a great job on the presentation without going too crazy as some other pages do.
