With April and Xbox’s Spring sale right around the bend, the April Games with Gold offers have been announced. Now the line up may not have any recent AAA titles but will reunite gamers with an old friend. April’s offer features an original Xbox title, one 360 title, and two Xbox One titles. April 2019’s Games with Gold offers focus on futuristic technology and adventure. April 2019’s Games with Gold offer features a Star Wars, Ghost Recon, Outcast, and a Mars Expedition.
The April 2019 Games with Gold offer features: Star Wars Battlefront 2, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter 2, The Technomancer, and Outcast: Second Contact. The estimated retail price for these four titles is $109.96, but all four titles could have been picked up at various times for $40.00. The key title in the Games with Gold offer is Star Wars Battle Front 2. Many gamers around the world fell in love with the 3rd person shooter for its wide variety of game modes. Many Xbox Game Pass users have had the opportunity to play The Techromancer; Sadly, we have not had the opportunity to do such.
Starting April 1st, Xbox Live Gold members will have the opportunity to download and play The Technomancer and Star Wars Battle Front II. The Techromancer will be free from April 1st to April 31st, while Star Wars Battle Front II will be free from April 1st to April 15th. Xbox One and Xbox 360 Gold members will have the opportunity to download and play Star Wars Battle Front 2. Starting on April 16th, Xbox Live Gold members will have the opportunity to download and play Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter 2 and Outcast: Second Contact. Outcast: Second Contact will be free from April 16th to May 15th. Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter 2 will be free from April 16th to April 30th.
In order to redeem these offers, you must be an active Xbox Live Gold member. Once the titles have been downloaded or added to the library, they are yours to keep. Hopefully, Star Wars Battle Front II will have the multiplayer that it once had. It will be amusing if the original Star Wars Battle Front II obtained a higher player base then EA’s reimagining. Below we are including the announcement trailer from Xbox which includes teasers for each title.
