GAEMS Announces Indiegogo Campaign for Guardian Pro XP Gaming Environment

GAEMS Guardian Pro XP

GAEMS, makers of portable gaming environments capable of turning nearly any console system into an easily mobile platform, have just announced an Indiegogo campaign for their upcoming Guardian Pro XP gaming environment. Originally announced in January, the Guardian Pro XP is positioned as the go-to portable environment for pro gamers, serious streamers, and content creators who need the capabilities of a studio in a box wherever they go.

According to their Indiegogo campaign, the main reason for going the crowdfunded route on this particular product is to ensure that the Guardian Pro XP is compatible not only with existing systems and small form factor PCs, but also with the upcoming (and as yet not quite officially announced) consoles from Microsoft and Sony.

“Our amazing community has always been at the core of everything we create, and they want a professional-grade, portable product that can keep up with the demands of streaming and esports competitions,” said John Smith, co-founder of GAEMS. “Creators need to be putting out fresh content even when traveling or at events, so we built the Guardian with HDMI output, mounts for mics, lights and cameras and even the ability to charge accessories. It’s a fully functional studio that you can carry on a plane.”

Various Indiegogo support levels come with some extensive packages.

Key specs of the Guardian Pro XP include a patented hard-shell case with integrated Picatinny Rail for mounting cameras, microphones, lighting, and anything else that will fit on a rail; a twenty-four inch Quad HD IPS gaming monitor; integrated nine watt speakers with a twelve wat power amp; and outputs for HDMI, headphones, and USB 3.0. The USB ports can be used to provide passive power for accessory charging even when the Guardian is turned off.

The Guardian Pro XP™ is expected to be available this summer. For more information, visit the Indiegogo page at https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/gaems-guardian-pre-perk-packs#/ and follow us on social media at Facebook, Instagram and Twitter to keep up with all the latest news.
