Gearbox’s Borderlands 3 gameplay reveal was everything fans could’ve hoped for. We got to see a good chunk of gameplay that showcases a ton of new features. And yes, if you’re wondering, the guns with legs were as awesome as you hoped!
Paul Sage (Creative Director) and Randy Pitchford (Gearbox CEO) were extremely enthusiastic to reveal some of the changes made to the formula. Thankfully, the game still feels like Borderlands, but what a 2019 version of Borderlands would be. These modern features include destructible cover, sliding, and alternate firing modes. Another huge announcement that was said (very subtly) was Borderlands 3 having no microtransactions. More specifically, Pitchford stated that this won’t have that “free to play” model, which is something that many Games As A Service seem to do. From what Pitchford says, Borderlands 3 will be a full package at launch (it’s sad that we have to be excited about that).
Here is the new gameplay trailer! Borderlands 3 releases on September 13 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Epic Games Store. What are you most excited for after the Borderlands 3Gameplay reveal?
