Over the last thirty years, WWE has dominated the Wrestling game industry. Throughout that thirty-year reign, many challengers stepped up but all the could say is Just Bring It and Here Comes the Pain. During the mid-2000s, WWE excelled with the Smackdown vs Raw franchise. Throughout the years, many WWE fans have attempted to speculate who would grace the next year’s cover. Earlier this month a document supposedly leaked revealing the fate of the WWE 2k20 cover and new additions to the game.
The WWE video games allow WWE fans to create the matches of their dreams. In previous WWE games, the WWE universe had the opportunity to draft superstars and create rivalries as they sit fit while deciding the outcome. The General Manager mode gave players the opportunity to be Vince McMahon while potentially pandering to the WWE audience. Hopefully, WWE and 2K will bring back the General Manager Mode in WWE 2K20 and have the fans show the writers a thing or two.
For the last three years, the WWE Women’s roster has risen to power providing excellent matches that keep audience members entertained. Although the whole women’s roster is not utilized properly, a few of the female wrestlers have risen to a prominent status. At Wrestlemania 35, the main event of the show featured Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, and Ronda Rousey in a triple threat match for the two women’s championships. In the End, Becky Lynch would walk out with both titles.
According to Fox Sports Asia, WWE 2K20 will feature Becky Lynch as the Cover’s wrestler and include Chyna as Bonus Character. Becky Lynch has had a remarkable year in the world of wrestling. She arguably had a better year than Seth Rollins, Daniel Bryan, AJ Styles, Charlotte Flair, and Johnny Gargano. With the Women’s Revolution being supported strongly by WWE, Becky Lynch is the obvious choice.
In a document supposedly leaked last week, WWE discusses the choice of “The Man” as the WWE 2K20 Cover wrestler, the inclusion of Chyna as a pre-order bonus, a historic look back at DX’s time in WWE, and significant moments in the Women’s Revolution. At the moment, there has been no denial or confirmation if this leak is legitimate. At the moment, no official release date has been announced, but we should expect an announcement around E3. Will WWE 2k20s Roster be bigger than WWE 2k19′?
