Just mere a few days until E3 2019, the leaks keep coming. The latest of these leaks revolve around CD Projekt Red’s newest title, Cyberpunk 2077. More specifically, it’s box art may have just been leaked and it has been making its way around the internet.
Cyberpunk 2077 might just be the most anticipated game right now. Fans are so excited to hopefully see new gameplay. Based on this potential leak, it seems we may also get a release date. The box art is one thing to show off, but displaying the pre-order bonuses surely indicates that a release date announcement is soon. CD Projekt Red has stated that they are aiming for a current-gen release. Therefore, if everything goes to plan, we can hope to play it by late 2019 or early 2020.
If we’re sure of one thing, it’s that Cyberpunk 2077 will not be playable at E3 2019. Still, they promise that this year’s E3 is the most important ever for the studio. Cyberpunk 2077 is obviously the big game of the show, but they’ve also mentioned that they have been staffing up for a yet another unannounced RPG. Details on this have yet be revealed.
We’ve already seen some previous gameplay back in August 2018. The 48 minute video gave us a huge chunk of gameplay including combat, exploration, and the vast array of customization options. We can’t wait to see even more. We are unsure as to when and where they will unveil new gameplay. However, it’s most likely going to be Microsoft’s E3 Briefing. Last year, their briefing ended with a surprise trailer of the game.
E3 2019 begins on Saturday, June 8 with the EA Press Conference. The convention will end on Tuesday, June 11.
