Take-Two Interactive has announced details about upcoming WWE 2K20 and its Towers game mode. This is the second year that WWE and 2K have included a behind the scenes look at one of WWE’s more prominent superstars. Last year WWE 2K19′s Towers Mode focused on the 10-year journey of the underdog Daniel Bryan. However, this year’s Towers Mode will focus on the career of “The Big Dog” Roman Reigns. Since returning to WWE after leaving due to Leukemia, Roman Reigns has retaken the spotlight as a top Superstar in WWE.
WWE 2K20 is scheduled to release on October 22nd, 2019 and is the first WWE game in the 2K franchise to feature a female wrestler on the main cover. Earlier this year, it was rumored that WWE 2K20 would focus around key moments during the Women’s Revolution. After Wrestlemania 35 featured Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, and Ronda Rousey, it seemed almost guaranteed that the upcoming Towers Mode would follow Becky Lynch’s rise. Instead, WWE fans will be able to play through 16 defining matches of Roman Reigns career to date while getting an inside peek at never-before-seen footage and live-action introductions for the 16 milestone matches.
WWE 2K20’s Towers invites players to take a WWE Superstar or a created character into one of several different towers. Each tower features a unique gauntlet of matches with a variety of challenges, match stipulations, and player modifications. The WWE 2K20 Roman Reigns tower will cover Roman’s time as a member of The Shield to his solo career against wrestlers larger than life. See how Roman Reigns overcame the odds against the Undertaker, John Cena, Brock Lesnar, and even Daniel Bryan in this exciting approach to a more traditional arcade mode that used to be a staple in fighting games.

WWE 2K20 is available now for pre-order and is scheduled to release worldwide on October 22, 2019, for the PlayStation4, Xbox One, and Windows PC. Hopefully, a key defining tower will focus on Becky Lynch and the Women’s Revolution. Ultimately, we will just have to wait and see.
