Since its official announcement at PAX East 2019, Borderlands 3 has been a hot topic in the gaming community. In Pornhub’s official release, Borderlands searches increased 12,905% following the September 13th release of Borderlands 3. This spike caused Borderlands to surpass Fortnite, Apex Legends, and Overwatch in Pornhubs search results. Among the most searched terms were “Borderlands 3” followed by “Borderlands Moxxi”; other popular character-related searches include “Lilith, Tiny Tiny, Maya and Gaige.” When the PHub team dug further, they discovered that the primary demographic were male. The male demographic dominated the females by 84%. The typical age range for Borderlands searches is between 18 and 34 years old. The PHUB team also discovered that Android users are 12% more likely to search than their apple counterparts. The final statistic the team discovered is that Xbox users are 78% more likely to search compared to their PlayStation counterparts.
The Pornhub team also discovered that users who searched for Borderlands also searched for other specific topics. These keys terms were bondage, cartoon, anime, cosplay, and furry. Below are some other key terms that users search for. These search results align with some anime and cosplayers.
