GUNNAR Optiks Reveals Fall Lineup

GUNNAR Optiks Reveals Fall Lineup

It’s that time again! Football is back, Pumpkin Spice is going into all the things, and Fall colors are showing up in the stores. This year, GUNNAR Optiks is updating a couple of their most popular frame styles with some new colors that are very on-trend. (Or so my fashion-forward daughter tells me – Ed.)

First, the GUNNAR Attaché now sports a spicy-chili Dark Red, and a soft Tortoise Fade Rose as color options. The ever popular Intercept frames get two new color options as well, in the form of a bold Indigo Blue (similar to what we saw on the youth-focused GUNNAR Cruz glasses earlier this year, and a wood grain retro pattern which GUNNAR calls “Dark Oak” that looks like the perfect fashion choice for streaming games from the upcoming Atari VCS console.

The Intercept frames can also still be had in the classic Onyx color, while the Attaché frames come in Onyx and Tortoise in addition to the new colors.

Bright blue and dark red options can definitely make these frames stand out in typical streamer lighting.

Both frames with the new color choices are available with either GUNNAR’s patented Amber Lens (BLPF 65) or Clear Lens (BLPF 35). Intercept prices start at $69.99, while the Attaché can be had starting at $79.99.

According to statistics from the American Academy of Ophthalmology (aao.org), over 4.88 million Americans suffer from issues with dry eyes, while the CDC (cdc.gov) notes that an estimated 61 million US adults are categorized as high risk for vision loss. That’s not even getting into the statistics about headaches, blurry vision, macular degeneration, and other vision issues. The point is that protecting your eyes is important, especially for gamers and office workers who spend a lot of time staring at screens.
