Destiny 2 ShadowKeep Garden of Salvation Raid Conquered

Guardians, the wait is finally over! The Destiny 2 ShadowKeep Expansion is finally out for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Over the weekend, Bungie launched the Garden of Salvation raid. The Garden of Salvation raid welcomed guardians back to the Black Garden. The Destiny 2 Expansion has reignited players with the moon in a way unlike ever before. If the Destiny 2 Shadowkeep expansion is anything to go by, Bungie is on a great path of redemption after their departure for Activision.

Starting on October 5th, guardians from around the world set out to be the first team to conquer the Garden of Salvation raid. The Black Garden has always been a vicious challenge with Vex around every corner. This did not deter many from setting out to discover the garden’s mysteries. Not even seven ours in, the Ascend Clan claimed the title of the world’s first. The six players from Ascend (Antivist, Cyber, ExBlack, Monks, Narhzul, & Pash) will receive complementary belts to celebrate the occasion.

Unlike Last Wish which took roughly 21 hours, the Garden of Salvation raid was conquered in 6 hrs and 15 minutes. Even with guides and practices, raids can be frustrating. Fellow world-first chaser Datto had this to say,

“It’s not easy to keep your cool in the face of dying over and over again for hours in the name of trial and error. Even after you’ve figured out what to do, you have to execute, and without an established strategy, it’s a tough task to say the least.”

Since the release of Destiny 2, I have yet to complete any Destiny 2 raid. However, after watching a bit of gameplay from the Garden of Salvation, I am ready to step back into the Garden. Guardians are you ready? Have you watched the Garden of Salvation run through? Destiny 2 Shadowkeep expansion costs $34.99 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Window’s PC. Congrats Ascend on being the world’s first.
