When it comes to battle royale games, there are a dime a dozen. We have Fortnite, Apex Legends, Black Ops 4 and more when it comes to video games. But, what if I were to tell you the team at Arvis Games Inc. is creating a tabletop game! While at this time of writing $155,812 has been raised out of its $22,511 goal, there are only 32 hours left. The game is called Board Royale from Arvis games. Board Royale – Survival Card Game ends its Kickstarter and it has been something I’ve been keeping an eye on for some days now.! You can totally bet I backed this as I was typing this write up.
Now if you’re like me, I often get ads on my personal Facebook feed on lots of tabletop Kickstarters. I mainly blame the awesome groups I’m in for giving me a heads up and the Facebook ads for knowing I like checking out indie projects on Kickstarter. Lately on top of our recent Kickstarter hands-on preview of Shady Pets. I’ve been seeing ads for a new card game called Board Royale, which is a Survival Card Game. What is this you ask?
Board Royale is a survival card game that combines Battle Royale mechanics with the social dynamics of board games. You will gather resources, craft items and use them against your friends to eliminate them and be the last survivor. When it comes to your own survival, you need to think out of the box, make deals and collaborations, lobby against each other, betray your friends to survive! Board Royale is 13+ Ages, 3-6 Players and 30-60 Minute gameplay.

Just that alone sounds amazing, and totally something I can see others playing along. While I’ll most likely betray them as we play. On top of this, the Kickstarter itself features expansion packs and more. These add-ons include the Kickstarter Exclusive Expansion Pack, NSFW Expansion Pack, Military Expansion Pack, Skills Expansion Pack, as well as a Disaster Expansion Pack. I happened to back the $60 tier as it includes the base game, some cool add-ons as well as all the expansions. While the game will get to everyone by March 2020 it’ll be something the team here at Marooners’ Rock will be keeping an eye on as well as playing in the future.
