The annual Awesome Games Done Quick, or AGDQ, marathon is only a few days away! Starting Sunday, January 5th, and not stopping till January 12th AGDQ 2020 will be raising money for the Prevent Cancer Foundation. This year the event is hosted in Orlando, Florida but will be primarily watched on Twitch around the world. It’s a phenomenal achievement that they have accomplished being the single largest fundraising event in the world for the Prevent Cancer Foundation.
You can expect to see games broken, beaten, and completed with skill and accuracy. Your favorite game maybe over in less than an hour when it took you many. Watch people compete and race games. Watch games beaten in ways you never would have imagined. It’s a fun event to tune into and an excellent way to start the new year with charity. Not to mention your donation could win you one of plenty of pretty amazing prizes! I’ve been tuning into the GDQ events for a few years now and I’m always pretty excited for it and no doubt AGDQ 2020 will be just as awesome. It’s also a unique opportunity to learn more about speedrunning with interviews of runners, and occasionally with game devs!
The schedule is currently posted, so be sure to go check it out to make sure you don’t miss your favorite game or streamer! https://gamesdonequick.com/schedule
