1C Entertainment Announces Realpolitiks II Coming This Fall

One world conflict is never enough. Today, 1C Entertainment and developer Jujubee are announcing Realpolitiks II, their grand strategy follow-up to 2017’s Realpolitiks. Set to launch this fall on PCs via Steam and other streaming platforms, Realpolitiks II is intended to expand and improve on the gameplay of its predecessor in a variety of ways.

Players will be able to choose from 216 contemporary nations as the starting point for their empire. From there, it’s all up to individual choice on how to gain world domination. Will you find a way to rule the world through diplomacy or trade, or crush all dissent under an iron boot?

A global pandemic causing economic problems? Only in videogames.

Realpolitiks II will feature an entirely new combat system providing players with full control over every battlefield. Plan for weather, use the terrain to your advantage, and try to gain the upper hand with superior tactics. Diplomacy and espionage have also been enhanced with a new set of both diplomatic and spying actions. Players will have access to tools such as non-aggression and defensive pacts, shared military access, and trade agreements.

The game will also feature a modding tool available at launch. Players will be able to create everything from units, to their own nations and campaigns. Want to lead the nation of Krasnovia to victory over those pancake-eating Pinelandian scum? Now you can!

Choose your projects wisely.

Key features of Realpolitiks II include over 1,000 new events, a variety of building options, nation sizes ranging from Sealand to Superpower, and enhanced management systems. Events can vary from minor provincial issues to world-threatening meteor strikes. Randomized occurrences ensure that no playthrough is ever quite the same. Buildings provide a major element of your campaign, as they control unit recruitment, training, defense, and supply. Ever wonder if Iceland could go full capitalist and conquer the world? Realpolitiks II can answer that question.
