Inferior Humans, prepare for DOOOOOM! This time no more distractions, attack the humans. Every time I try to remember Crypto from Destroy All Humans I just picture Invader Zim. Now, the reason might that they are both sarcastic aliens bent on world domination; the alternative rationale is due to the voice of Invader Zim being in both alien stories. Richard Steven Horvitz is the voice actor behind Zim and Orthopox in Destroy All Humans. At PAX East 2020, we had the opportunity to preview The Destroy All Human Remake and Spongebob Squarepants: Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated.
Back in February when we talked to the developers, they stated that both games were near completion; this led us to ask when the two games would officially release. At the time, the only answer we received was sometime later in 2020. Earlier this month, THQ Nordic announced that Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated would release on June 23rd. Similar to Naughty Dog, THQ Nordic plans to release the Destroy All Humans Remake within the same quarter.
The Destroy All Humans Remake will release on July 28th, 2020 on Steam, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. This means the game will launch after Independence Day so we might have a Close Encounter. I know that was a bad alien movie joke. Do you want to know what is not a bad alien joke? The Destroy All Humans Remake will only cost €29.99 / $29.99 / £24.99 / ₽1.529 on Steam, whereas the console versions will cost €39.99 / $39.99 / £34.99 / ₽2.799.
