Someone named Daniel Luu (@squishguin) has created a website where you can buy and sell in-game items from Animal Crossing: New Horizons! If there are items that you want, but cannot get on your own, or if you want to diversify who you sell to, this website could be useful!
Nookazon.com
The appropriately named Nookazon.com creates an online trading house for Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Just like Amazon, eBay, or any other online market, it provides a place to buy and sell items.
Pretend that you are looking to accessorize your villager with an acid-washed jacket. You can type the item name into the search bar and you would find listings such as these!
New Horizons players can set their own prices, barter, and advertise as they please. Each listing includes contact information for the seller, be it over Discord or simply a Nintendo Switch friend code. This way, players can set the time to meet online, discuss specifics, and do anything else they need in order to seal the deal!
Most of the items for sale are in exchange for Bells (a.k.a. in-game money), but trade is also an option. That is up to the player. Nookazon.com simply provides an organized, accessible platform on which to meet players and find your dream items!
The Downside and Tips
Unfortunately, Nookazon is sometimes a fairly slow website. Perhaps it is overloaded with players clamoring to use this convenient and fun service. Perhaps the internet as a whole is bogged down by billions of people worldwide subjected to quarantine and having little else to do.
That being said, instead of a progress bar or spinning wheel, you can watch Tom Nook’s face spin as you wait. It’s a small thing, but hypnotizing. I found myself staring at the icon waiting for the page to load for a good three minutes before I realized how far I had zoned out.
If the screen is taking some time to load, though, simply refresh the page. That can usually kick Nookazon back into gear, pulling up the desired page in seconds. Usually…
Also, whenever you click on an item to see available listings, the numbers at the top for buying and selling are the lowest offers for both. They also only represent transactions in Bells. There are plenty of postings asking for trades or simply for customers to make an offer, so it is worthwhile to browse!
Regardless, if we are lucky, maybe Nookazon will stick around! Either way, if you want to check out this weirdly convenient resource, hop on over to https://nookazon.com/
