Rumor: Next 3 Free Epic Game Store Titles Revealed

If you were to ask someone what their favorite moment of 2020 was so far you would probably get a pessimistic answer. That answer would make sense due to the current economic landscape and the events that have transpired. Because of current conditions, the entertainment industry has sought to relieve the world’s stress by offering a variety of free activities. Earlier this month, a rumor emerged that Grand Theft Auto 5 would be free on the Epic Game Store. This rumor turned out to be true and GTA 5 was offered on May 14th.

Earlier this week a Twitter user known as Avi Thour posted three potential free offerings on the Epic Game Store. At the moment, the three games have not been confirmed but could be within the upcoming days. In the post, the user claims that Civilization VI (May 21st), Borderlands: The Handsome Collection (May 28th), and Ark: Survival Evolved (June 4th) will be free. If this rumor turns out to be true, it will provide countless hours of gameplay to gamers. Hopefully, this rumor turns out to be true.

Possible Games

Grand Theft Auto 5 has already been download by many Epic Game Store users.  At E3 2016, we had the opportunity to preview Civilization VI. Sadly, we were not wowed by the newest Civilization. This was ultimately due to my lack of experience with the Civilization franchise. If you enjoy turn-based Strategy games then Civilization VI is a great pick up.

The final title, Ark Survival Evolved allows players to explore an open world filled with dinosaurs. Will you survive and become a Dinosaur king? Ark Survival can be modded to add Pokemon to the game. If the rumor turns out to be true, which of the three titles will you download? Personally, I would recommend Borderlands: The Handsome Collection since it is the only title I have experience with.
