Harvest resources and prepare to defend the Hollow!

What is Drake Hollow? It’s a cooperative game set in a blighted mirror version of our world where players work together to build and protect villages of Drakes. The game is the latest offering from The Molasses Flood, the developer behind hit survival game The Flame in the Flood. For a more in-depth look at Drake Hollow, check out our preview coverage.

During the open beta weekend, players will have access to a limited sandbox experience featuring a single biome from the full game. The Molasses Flood plans to use this weekend primarily as a stress test before the game hits its full launch on July 17, 2020.

The waypoint system allows players to move quickly between major map locations with little risk aside from looking Totally Xtreme!

To participate, players should sign up for Microsoft’s Xbox Insider Program, and after installing the Insider application will gain access to Drake Hollow during the open beta window.

For more information, players can visit www.drakehollow.com. To wishlist the game on Steam, visit https://store.steampowered.com/app/739650/Drake_Hollow/. When the game launches, it will be available for the Xbox One console, and Windows PCs.

Combat doesn’t just happen outside, interior encounters are possible too. Maybe someone with a ranged weapon should be on point though?
