Can’t wait to get a taste of upcoming village-building action-adventure Drake Hollow? Members of Microsoft’s Xbox Insider Program can get a head start this weekend thanks to a limited open beta which opens today and runs through Monday, June 22 at Noon EDT. For non-insider members, we’ve also got some new screenshots from the latest builds of the game!
What is Drake Hollow? It’s a cooperative game set in a blighted mirror version of our world where players work together to build and protect villages of Drakes. The game is the latest offering from The Molasses Flood, the developer behind hit survival game The Flame in the Flood. For a more in-depth look at Drake Hollow, check out our preview coverage.
During the open beta weekend, players will have access to a limited sandbox experience featuring a single biome from the full game. The Molasses Flood plans to use this weekend primarily as a stress test before the game hits its full launch on July 17, 2020.
To participate, players should sign up for Microsoft’s Xbox Insider Program, and after installing the Insider application will gain access to Drake Hollow during the open beta window.
