Liberated Launches on PC in July with new features

The critically and commercial acclaimed noir cyberpunk action game, Liberated, is coming to PC in July. Liberated recently launched on Nintendo Switch to great praise, and coming off of the release on the Switch is the announcement that Liberated is not only heading to the PC, but will feature new enthronements to the overall game. The announcement from Walkabout Games came during June’s two main gaming events, the Guerrilla Collective and the Future Games Show.

Liberated is a dystopian cyberpunk noir thriller and action game that puts players in the heart of a black and grey dystopia. n a city under heavy surveillance within an Orwellian structure, stories emerge of resistance, order, and the conflicts of freedom versus the law. Liberated is told through the perspective of a graphic novel, filled with deep, ink-heavy illustrations, and a unique color palette. Events in the game occur via graphic novel panels fitted directly within the page of the novel, creating a sensation of a story being told through the flips of a page. Liberated features a combination of stealth-action combat, platforming, and side-scrolling shooting, wrapped in a rich and relevant story.

The PC version of Liberated will be released on Steam and GOG.com. Liberated will have the following features on PC.

  • Ultra HD resolution support (4K and up)
  • Ultra widescreen support
  • High refresh rate support (144Hz and up)
