Rumors have been abounding today about Atlus potentially releasing Persona 4 Golden for Steam and PC on June 13th. So far as we can tell, Atlus is planning on announcing and subsequently releasing the PC version during the PC Gaming Show on the 13th. Though the rumor has a good chance of being true, you might want to restrain yourselves before you get too excited.
The Sources
Earlier today, Nitomatta on Twitter highlighted a SteamDB listing, as seen through this link. At the time, the listing was supposedly marked as Persona 4 Golden, however there are many past examples of false or egregious listings. That being said, Pavel Djundik, a developer in SteamDB, soon after confirmed that the listing is indeed for P4G.
Got some information privately, does actually appear to be P4G.

Heck, there are even a thumbnail and banner included on the page!
In short order, we received further confirmation from industry influencers Daniel Ahmad and Wario64, both on Twitter. Ahmad is the one who said that this title will be announced and released on the same day. Nitomatta tweeted again about this alleged Steam/PC version, cluing us into the game’s Denvo support page.
This classic from the PlayStation Vita is set to recieve a rabid reception from fans who loved it back in 2012 as well as from those who just jumped on the Persona bandwagon after playing Persona 5.
Granted, this could just be a few people pulling our collective legs, unlikely as that may be. The best we can do now is wait and see. Fingers crossed for June 13th!
