A handful of years ago I got to take on Kingdoms of Amalur on the Xbox 360 the game was at the time created by Big Huge Games and 38 Studios, who also published the game with Electronic Arts. Not that long after its release, the news broke that 38 Studios was going bankrupt. That alone was big news as the company had just made its first game.
Fast forward a few years to 2018 and THQ Nordic was able to obtain the IP for Kingdoms of Amalur. Inside my head, I was excited to see some IP’s being saved from never coming back again. Till this day there are some games I’d love to see IPs to some games be revived. Today, the team has released the first gameplay trailer for those looking to pick up the game, which you can check out below.
