Borderlands Tabletop RPG Bunkers & Badasses Pre-Order

Tiny Tina's Bunkers & Badasses Logo Tabletop RPG

The hit franchise Borderlands is coming to tabletop role-playing in the form of Bunkers & Badasses. This D&D styled game was originally just a joke concept within the Borderlands video games, but now it’s real and presented to us by… Oh dear God. I’ll just let her say it.

Tiny Tina's Bunkers & Badasses Tabletop RPG Book Cover

“VAULT HUNTERS, ARE YOU READY FOR THE GREATEST FUN YOU’VE EVER HAD?! This is your first-class ticket to Boom Town! Now sit down and strap in because once this choo-choo’s chuggin’, we’re not stopping for NOBODY. ROLL FOR INITIATIVE!” –Tiny Tina

The Game

For better or worse, Tina got distracted playing the game, so we can give you the details.

Nerdvana Games collaborated with Leder Games and Gearbox Entertainment to produce this tabletop game based on the Borderlands franchise.

The ladies and gal-ettes over at Nerdvana Games made B&B into a tabletop game that you can buy and own and cherish and play until your eyeballs fall out and you lose all your dice!” –Tiny Tina

Nerdvana Games has taken Tiny Tina’s fictional role-playing game and reimagined it as a real-world tabletop game. The game explores the Borderlands world of Pandora through a blend of epic fantasy adventures and traditional Borderlands environments. Players will fight and shoot (and probably die!) in the incredible world of grand castles, grim dungeons, and creepy forests.

To begin the game, players will use the deep, but intuitive, Bunkers & Badasses character creation system. They’ll pick from 10 newly-imagined Vault Hunter classes and skill trees from both Borderlands 1 and Borderlands 2.

Here is a  bit of information on it all from Tiny Tina!

Based on the game-within-a-game from Gearbox Software’s Borderlands series, Bunkers & Badasses is tabletop roleplaying unlike anyone’s ever done it before!

Within the sourcebook, you’ll find over 200 pages of skag-shooting, skeleton-looting, treasure-hoarding tabletop action! The sourcebook doesn’t just include everything you need to know in order to play Bunkers & Badasses for yourself — it’s also got:

  • Over a hundred pieces of custom art
  • Over two hundred jokes
    • Twenty of which are funny
  • Three full adventure campaigns you can run straight out of the book, each chock full of Borderlands characters, enemies, and general badassery!

Marcus’ Quest for the Wizard’s Wand

A wizard’s wand made of pure gold has gone missing, and every weapon manufacturer on Pan’Dorah wants a piece of it. It’s up to a rowdy group of newbie Vault Hunters (aka, you) to fight their way to the wand before anyone else can get their grubby, non-Vault-Hunter-y mitts on it. This one-shot campaign will introduce both beginning players and Bunker Masters to the rules and mechanics of Bunkers & Badasses!

Create your own Vault Hunter!

Make your own unique badass using the deep but intuitive Bunkers & Badasses character creation system! Pick from ten newly imagined Vault Hunter classes and skill trees from both Borderlands 1 and 2!

Create your own adventures!

The Bunkers & Badasses sourcebook includes everything you need to create your own custom adventures, whether you’re crafting a simple one-shot or a sprawling campaign! It also includes  advice on how to lie, cheat, and cut corners to make it seem like you did more preparation than you actually did.

Play through the Assault on Dragon Keep!

Did you love the critically acclaimed Borderlands 2 DLC, Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep, but wish it existed primarily in your imagination? Then you’ll love the tabletop campaign version included in the Bunkers & Badasses sourcebook!
