Video games deserve a second chance, and Uppers is officially getting one. Marvelous Games and XSEED Games have announced that the wacky anime-inspired brawler Uppersis making its way exclusively to Steam, and it’s coming far sooner than one may think. Steam players can dive straight into the frenzied chaos of Uppers On October 21st.
The news comes from a Facebook post from the official Facebook page for XSEED Games, confirming the release date. Uppers is a chaotic action brawling game from the team behind the busty and fierce Senran Kagura franchise. Uppers takes place on Last Resort island, an island that has adopted a singular culture: Making it to the top by any means. For the citizens that live on this island year-round violence is a mainstay. Fighting is everything on the island, with citizens fighting and vying for control of the very top. Those that make it to the very top gain the admiration of the entire island, as well as wield bottomless fortunes. Uppers tells the story of two young men fighting for the top. Players encounter the ups and downs of these young means they fight for control of the island. Uppers was originally released I 2013 as a Japanese-exclusive title for the PlayStation Vita, and for those that played it, the presentation and action were impeccable on the go.
