Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered Launches Next Month

Ladies and Gentlemen, Rockers of all ages, a new Need for Speed title is coming! For the second year in a row, EA is launching a new Need for Speed title with very little advertisement before launch. Last year, EA released Need for Speed Heat on November 8th, 2019. Despite fixing a lot of the gameplay issues from Need for Speed Payback, Need for Speed Heat still felt like an incomplete product. Many consider Heat an unfinished product due to the campaign’s abrupt ending and lack of online community. Now less a month away, EA has announced Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered.

For the third time in 25 years, Need for Speed Hot Pursuit will release to gamers on a new generation of consoles. At the moment, Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered has been announced for Playstation4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch. The Playstation4, Xbox One, and the PC version will release on November 6; the Nintendo Switch version of the game will release on November 13. Can you beat the 5:10 time? The game’s first ad focuses on the rivalry of racers and the 2nd place racer focusing on their defeat. In the end, pride led to a great fall.

File Size

The official file size for the Xbox One version of Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered has been revealed. The remastering comes in at a medium size of 21.80 GBs. This feels rather small compared to Assassin Creed Valhalla‘s 60 GBs or Watch Dogs Legion‘s 40 GBs. Unlike Need for Speed Heat, Need for Speed HPR will have cross-play at launch. For more information, head on over to EA’s website.

Does a remastered Need for Speed Hot Pursuit matter to you? If not Hot Pursuit then what Need for Speed title would you like to be remastered? Personally, I would love to see Need for Speed Carbon and Need for Speed Underground 2 remastered.
