This weekend, Redbull will host the Red Bull Solo Q US and Canada Finals on twitch.tv/redbull. The Red Bull Solo Q US and Canada tournament pitted thousands of players against one another in 1 v 1 competition to determine the best amateur Leauge of Legends player is in the US and Canada. The finals will feature a variety of special guests. The broadcast will also feature virtual set pieces featuring elements of Summoner’s Rift. In the finals, eight players will compete in a playoff to determine the best player for each country. Each first-place winner will receive $2,500 cash, a private Cloud 9 Coaching session, and a Red Bull Solo Q Trophy.
All eight members of each final bracket have already won:

The US broadcast team will feature James “Dash” Patterson, Gabriella “LeTigress” Devia-Allen, Barento “Razleplasm” Mohammed, and Nicki Taylor (Singer). The Canadian side will feature Aidan “Zirene” Moon, Clayton “Captain Flowers” Raines, James “Stress” O’Leary, and Marissa Roberto. All eight commentators are special members of the League of Legends community.
The Canadian finals will start a 12 PM EST/9 AM PST. The Us finals will start at 6:30 PM EST/ 3:30 PM EST. Will the tournament feature League of Legends’ latest update?
1 V 1 Rules
So what are the rules of this 1 v tournament?
- Players compete in a one-on-one setting
- Bracket is double-elimination, random seeding
- Map: Summoner’s Rift – Top Lane – Recalling to base allowed
- Blind Pick Game Mode
- Each game player will take turns banning champions in lobby chat until each player has banned 3 unique champions.
- No entering the jungle or killing jungle camps
- No entering jungle bushes, river, or river bush (entering lane bushes is allowed)
- There is no pause time
- No-show time is ten minutes

First player to get two (2) kills under seven (7) minutes, or one (1) kill after seven (7) minutes

The player in the upper side of the bracket (or left side of the match page) will play blue side. The player in the lower side of the bracket (or right side of the match page) will play red side
