Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War has now been out for over a week. Since its release, Black Ops Cold War has received relatively decent review scores across the industry. In fact, Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War is now the fastest-selling Call of Duty to date. Leading up to the game’s release, multiple companies announced that they were partnering with the Gaming giant for its release. Prior to the game’s release, Jack Links, Doritos, and Mountain Dew had announced their partnership with Activision and Call of Duty. Now Totino’s is about to rejoin the team and host a special invitational.
Today, Totino’s has announced the Black Ops Brawl: Call of Duty Invitational set to take place on Tuesday, November 24. In this invitational, eight teams of players will compete in Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War for their chance to win $20,000. During this four-hour event hosted by well-known Call of Duty League casters, MerK and Maven, teams will have to prove their merit. Totino’s has partnered with Call of Duty League’s Minnesota Rokkr to run the event. Swagg and Symfuhny will serve as the two of the team captains for this tournament. Each captain will hand-select three amateur and three professional Call of Duty players to join their team. The other six captains are: Nameless, Hitch, Crowder, TeeP, Censor, and Tommey.
The Totino’s Black Ops Brawl: Call of Duty Invitational will be broadcast on Twitch starting at 3:00 pm ET. Merk and Maven will be analyzing each team’s gameplay, giving out tips and tricks, and answering viewer’s questions in the chat. Viewers will also have the chance to win special Totino’s merch throughout the event.
Totino’s Thoughts on Partnership
Totino’s Director of Marketing, Justin Conzemius, had this to say about the invitational:
It’s no secret the Totino’s brand is very deliberate in the partners we work with. Following the success of our sponsored Twitch stream this fall, we knew we had to bring our fans more awesome gaming content. On the heels of the highly anticipated Call of Duty®: Black Ops Cold War release we’re excited to have some very talented streamers lined up for this event, and I think the fans are really going to love it. With Totino’s and Twitch together you know you’re going to view some epic content, and I can assure you there will be no shortage of entertainment during this Twitch Tournament.
