With 2020 in the rearview mirror, the excitement begins for the new hopes of 2021 and new games. Leading the charge is Eastasiasoft, which have been seen as the MVP’s of the indie gaming scene, especially those with a PlayStation Vita. This month, Eastasiasoft took to Youtube to show their Winter Showcase, with exciting new announcements and new games arriving soon.
The showcase displayed a variety of new titles the company is looking to publish and release, starting with Crawlco Block Knockers, a 16-bit, 90’s inspired square puzzler that has players working in a warehouse and discovering “unexpected assets.”
Additionally, the 3D action brawler Drunken Fist has now launched on modern systems. Emphasizing ragdolls physics, Drunk Fist encourages players to fight tough and get inebriated to win.
On January 7th, the highly anticipated Sense: A Cyberpunk Ghost Story scares its way onto the Nintendo Switch. This highly anticipated cyberpunk horror adventure finds players as a sex worker on the streets of Neo Hong Kong, trying to unearth a deadly secret before it claims her life.
On January 13th, The Pillar: Puzzle Escape makes its way to modern consoles, putting players within the confines of an endless maze and challenging players to use their minds to break free.
Teratopia arrives on modern systems on January 20th, and is described as a classic 90’s brawler with a lewd sense of humor. In Teratopia, players challenge an evil queen and battle hordes of grotesque monsters in a colorful fantasy landscape.
Action and spaceship shooter enthusiasts should look no further than Project Starship X, a spaceship shooter with vibrant graphics and a twist on the established formula.
Finally, the follow-up to 2019’s Habroxia releases as Habroxia 2 targets a release date for February 2021, including for the PlayStation Vita.
eastasiasoft has had a remarkable 2020, with physical releases for PlayStation Vita and Nintendo Switch. Additionally, the company has helped release several fantastic indies for modern consoles, such as Zero Strain, One Finger Death Punch 2, and Soldner X2: Final Chapter Prototype Definitive Edition.
