Revealed during the Eastasiasoft Winter Showcase, developer Paper Bunker is excited to announce The Pillar: Puzzle Escape is making its way to consoles on January 13th. The mind-bending puzzler, which was first released this past summer via Steam, was part of a special selection of games from Eastasiasoft that were released during the Winter season.
The news comes from the Eastasiasoft Winter Showcase, which joined the announcement of other titles, such as Drunken Fist and Sense: A Cyberpunk Ghost Story. The Pillar: Puzzle Escape is different from the selection of games as it dons a colorful presentation and focuses squarely on intellectual puzzles woven around a solid story. The Pillar: Puzzle Escape was originally released in June of 2020, on Steam, and currently has a “Mostly Positive” review reception. A description of the game from the Eastasiasoft site is as follows:
Cleverly mixing mystery and puzzle solving, The Pillar: Puzzle Escape ventures deep into an unknown world filled with riddling contraptions and scenic vistas. Explore islands that each offer unique environments and secrets to discover. Remain aware of your surroundings as they change and evolve like a lucid dream. With every challenge you overcome, you grow closer to escaping the mythical maze and waking up from the elaborate cage that’s trapped you inside!
The Pillar: Puzzle Escape will be releasing on January 13th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
