Earlier today, we talked about why Hitman 3 coming to VR was a game-changer. For those who missed the article, we discussed some of the positive and negative aspects of Hitman 3 on VR. In the PlayStation VR trailer, Agent 47 can be seen in varying locations around the world. Players will have the opportunity to find new ways to kill in scenic environments. The Hitman franchise has always taken Agent 47 to new and exciting areas. Today, IO Interactive has revealed the six locations that Agent 47 will be traveling to in Hitman 3. Below, we will be covering the six new locations in Hitman 3.
As previously announced, players will have the opportunity to carry over their saved files from Hitman 1 & 2. At the moment, it has not been announced what importing the saved games will do in Hitman 3. Could Agent 47’s contract kills in the prior two games cause guards to be more cautious or suspicious? The saves could also allow Agent 47 to have a better variety of weapons to kill with.
In Hitman 3, Agent 47 will visit six locations on three different continents. Agent 47 will become mister worldwide when he pays a visit to Asia, Europe, and South America. Specifically, Agent 47 will be visiting Dubai (UAE), Dartmoor (UK), Berlin (Germany), Chongqing (China), Mendoza (Argentina), and Carpathian Mountains (Romania).
Location Descriptions
IO Interactive has given descriptions of all six locations while trying to avoid any story spoilers. Below we will be including their descriptions.
Dubai – Experience the grandeur and decadence of Dubai at the opening ceremony of the tallest building in the world. Join an excited crowd to witness the breathtaking scenery and explore the top floors of this exquisite building, both inside and out.
England – Travel to the historic Thornbridge Manor in Dartmoor for a mission with a murder mystery twist. Choose your own path to your objectives or take on the role of detective to solve a murder and eliminate your target. Two birds, one disguise.
Germany – Head to the outskirts of Berlin, a city known for its fairytales, vibrant style, and chaotic nightlife. Whether you’re looking for a place to reflect and recuperate or want to experience the dizzying adrenaline rush of an epic rave, Berlin will help you find both of those things and everything in between.
China – Under the flickering neon lights of busy cafes and amidst a flurry of small shops and food stands crammed into tight streets, Chongqing offers travelers a respite from the demands of everyday life. This megacity is a transportation hub with plenty of secrets off the beaten path.
Argentina – As one of the most well-known wine regions in South America, Mendoza is the perfect place to take in the beautiful sights and acquired tastes of Argentina. From the sloping hills to the modern vineyards, there’s plenty of opportunities to explore.
Romania – The final mission in the World of Assassination trilogy takes you to the Carpathian Mountains.
Release Date & Platforms
HITMAN 3 will be available on January 20, 2021, for the PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox One & Series X/S, Google Stadia, and PC. HITMAN 3 will also be coming to Nintendo Switch via cloud streaming technology.
