Al the cool things happen in ancient greeks. Ubisoft has announced that its sleeper hit, Immortals: Fenyx Rising will be receiving a special crossover from another unlikely ally. Fresh off its release in 2020, the animated series Blood of Zeus will be crossing over with Immortals: Fenyx Rising, with a new quest, character pack, and weapons pack. However, it will only be available for a limited time from January 21st to the 28th. If you haven’t read our full review of the game, here is Andrew’s review.
The news comes from Ubisoft via a press release and is accompanied by a tweet from Netflix (@NXOnNetflix.) The crossover of Blood of Zeus and Immortals: Fenyx Rising features an all-new quest for layers to embark on, titled ” A tribute to Family.” The quest has players facing off against two incredibly dangerous creatures of Greek legend: Chimera and Cerebus. When players successfully defeat the two beasts, they will gain the Eagle Pendant, and new customizable options themed to Blood of Zeus. Following this quest, players may acquire the Blood of Zeus weapon and skin pack. The weapon pack features skins for the Sword, Axe, and Bow, all themed to Blood of Zeus. The character pack is themed to the Amazonian Warrior Alexia and features an armor set, also themed to Blood of Zeus. These packs will be available even after the end of the crossover event.

Immortals: Fenyx Rising is an action open-world RPG set within the world of Greek mythology. Players play as Fenyx, a demigod sent to save ancient Greece from a dark curse. Using special powers and abilities, players explore a large world on a quest to save the Gods of Olympus and defeat the most dangerous Titan in the universe, Typhon. The game has been met with critical and commercial acclaim and stands out against the competition. Netflix’s Blood of Zeus is an animated show, featuring a darker portrayal of ancient Greece. A young man is revealed to be the illegitimate son of Zeus, the leader of the Gods of Olympus. Though he can save realms of Heaven and Earth a vengeful Goddess, nad her endless legion of beasts, will stop at nothing to ensure this does not happen.
This is an unexpected announcement, but a welcome one, as Immortals: Fenyx Rising is a title that seems to have been swept ashore from the crashing waves of the gaming competition, most notably the highly anticipated, and subsequent disaster, of the release of Cyberpunk 2077. Fortunately, thanks to the gaming press, social media, and streamers, it appears Immortals: Fenyx Rising is gaining ground and making rounds. It would be fascinating to see other crossovers in the future, especially for a certain Spartan that resides at world-famous Santa Monica Studios.
Immortals: Fenyx Rising is now available digitally and physically for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC.
