January has been an interesting month for Microsoft. Earlier this month, Xbox received global criticism due to the lack of exclusive titles on the Xbox Series X. In addition to that criticism, Microsoft and Xbox came under fire after announcing they would be increasing the price of Xbox Live Gold and eliminating the annual pass; since then, they have announced they are reversing the decision and making free-to-play games playable without Xbox Live Gold. The love month is just around the corner and Microsoft has announced the February 2021 Games with Gold. February will feature five fun Games with Gold titles.
Microsoft is showing their love to their gold members with the February 2021 Games with Gold. The February line-up consists of Gears 5, Resident Evil, Indiana Jones and the Emperor’s Tomb, Dandara: Trials of Fear, and Lost Planet 2.
Starting February 1st, Gold members will have access to Gears 5, Resident Evil, and Indiana Jones and the Emperor’s Tomb. Gears 5 and Resident Evil will be free until March 1st; Indiana Jones and the Emperor’s Tomb will be free until February 16th. Then on February 16th, Dandara: Trials of Fear, and Lost Planet 2 will be free to Xbox Live Gold members. Dandara: Trials of Fear will be free until March 15th while Lost Planet 2 will be free until March 1st.
Remember to Redeem
The January 2021 Games with Gold titles are still available to Xbox Live Gold members. Dead Rising is free until February 16th. Meanwhile, you can still pick up Little Nightmares and Breakdown until February 1st. Breakdown is an original Xbox Game.
Which of the February 2021 Games with Gold titles will you be picking up? Personally, I will be returning to Gears 5 due to their most recent update improving the game immensely. If you are not an Xbox Live Gold member, you can still play Gears 5 through Xbox Game Pass.
