Spider-Man Movie Title Revealed

Spider-Man Movie Title Revealed

Sony Pictures have finally released a video revealing the official title of the third Spider-Man MCU film. Featuring Tom Holland, Zendaya, and Jacob Batalon, Holland laments that Director Jon Watts won’t give him the real title of the movie. His costars point out his tendency to spoil things, (something that he may actually be getting better at based on his recent comments about a Garfield and Maguire cameo, Zendaya pointing out his ‘accidental’ reveal of the previous title far from home, then the camera pans to a whiteboard with the actual title written on it. Spider-Man No way Home.

You can check out the video of this happening below! We’ve very pleased with how the title of the movie has been announced.

This has been a fun reveal campaign with such gems as Spider-Man Phone Home. Spider-Man Home Alone or my personal favorite, since they weren’t going to go with Spider-Man Home for the Holidays, Spider-Man: Agatha did it, the latter being an Homage to the MCU’s hit Disney + TV show Wandavision. However, the true title has massive implications, especially when you consider that following the incredibly rough negotiations to keep Spidey in the MCU, Marvel president Kevin Feige was looking for an exit strategy for this iteration of the character. While it’s going to be fun to see folks like Alfred Molina’s Doc Ock, Jamie Foxx’s Electro, and possibly Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin, not having Tom Holland in the MCU proper just seems weird. On the other hand, this may be the perfect opportunity for Sony to bring the Spiderverse to live-action. After all, who wouldn’t want to see Peter Parker and Miles Morales on screen together? We’ll find out one way or another when the film arrives Christmas, 2021.

Are you excited about this title? What do you think it means? Has Tom Holland gotten a lot better at keeping secrets? Let us know in the comments and stay tuned to Marooners’ Rock for more web-slinging news!

Brett has always been a huge fan of movies, particularly anything involving the DC Universe, Scooby-Doo, or gangster films. When it comes to gaming, he’s up for anything as long as it involves fighting games, Yu-Gi-Oh!, or Pokémon. He likes pretty much anything, except pineapple on pizza. . . His ultimate goal is to be a novelist.
