Taito proudly announced that Bubble Bobble 4 Friends was a bursting success! The Nintendo Switch version received an overall great reception. Our review praised Taito for doing a retro revival incredibly well. Following its success on Switch, Taito released a PlayStation 4 port. This coincided with the “The Baron Is Back” update, which added in an all-new area featuring Baron von Blubba himself. This area allows 1 to 4 players to take on bubble-immune skel-monster in an additional 100 levels.
