- A few years ago, I had the opportunity to play The Forgotten City at PAX East. This is where I met up with Nick Pearce, founder of Modern Storyteller. It’s also the same year Nick got both Erin and myself hooked to Tim Tams from Australia. Advice, if you’ve never had some, you should totally try them out! Anyways, into this GREAT news from Modern Storyteller.
The Forgotten City, a time-looping freeze-framing golden Roman murder mystery based on the critically acclaimed mod of the same name, has been downloaded no less than 2 million times. In this game, you’ll travel 2,000 years into the past to uncover the secrets of what caused the souls of this Roman city to turn to gold. One set rule in the game is that if one person sins, everyone dies. Will, you figure out the secrets going on to save these people or doom them? Below is the new trailer released from Dear Villagers, which brought a smile to my face seeing the work again and excitement to play the game when it releases later this year.
