The Cruis’n franchise has always had close ties with Nintendo. This dates back to the original 1994 title, Cruis’n USA, which released on N64 2 years later. This can be thanked to what Nintendo had coined “Project Reality”. Somewhere down the line, ownership of Cruis’n transferred over from Midway to Nintendo. The latest entry in the series, which was developed by Raw Thrills, released exclusively to arcades in 2017. During yesterday’s E3 Nintendo Direct, Cruis’n Blast was confirmed to be cruising onto the Nintendo Switch this fall!
