What’s to Come
It’s hard to imagine Thor: Love and Thunder being more insane than its predecessor, but it’s exciting to see this level of confidence given the high bar Thor: Ragnarok set. The film, which will see Natalie Portman’s Jane Foster take on the role of the titular character, was announced at San Diego Comic-Con 2019 alongside the likes of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness, and the rest of Phase 4. At the time, Waititi talked about how he had been reading the mighty Thor comics while shooting the last film, so it’s nice to see this story come to life onscreen. With the film set for a May 6, 2022 release, here’s hoping fans can see a trailer alongside Spider-Man: No Way Home this November.
