July is now underway and as the Summer is starting to heat up, many look for cool ways to unwind. Although many Americans are now free to leave their houses without masks, some are opting to stay inside to play games instead. Luckily for PlayStation and Xbox gamers, Sony and Microsoft have made it easy to enjoy the Summer. Here are the July 2021 Games with Gold and PlayStation Plus titles.
Xbox Games with Gold
The July 2021 Games with Gold provide Gold members with four titles. Starting on July 1st, Planet Alpha and Conker: Live & Reloaded became available to Xbox Live Gold members. Planet Alpha ($19.99 ERP) is available from July 1st to 31st. Conker: Live & Reloaded ($9.99 ERP) is available for free from July 1st to 15th. Starting on July 16th, Rock of Ages 3: Make & Break and Midway Arcade Origins will be free to Xbox Live Gold members. Rock of Ages 3: Make & Break ($29.99 ERP) will be free from July 16th to August 15th. Midway Arcade Origins ($19.99 ERP) will be free from July 16th to 31st.
Midway Arcade Origins contains 30 Midway titles; it includes Gauntlet, Spyhunter, Rampage, and Defender.
PlayStation Plus
When you compare the Xbox Games with Gold titles to the PlayStation Plus titles, the PlayStation Plus titles are definitely newer. Starting today, PlayStation Plus members can download Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, WWE 2K Battlegrounds, and A Plague Tale: Innocence (PS5). All three of these titles will be available until August 2nd.
Xbox vs PlayStation
When it comes down to the July 2021 Games with Gold & PlayStation Plus offers, it comes down to quantity vs age. Within the last year, Sony has prioritized newer games for their PS+ offers.
