The first trailer for Spider-Man No Way Home has arrived online. Starring Tom Holland in his sixth appearance as the webhead alongside Zendaya and MCU favorite Benedict Cumberbatch as Dr. Strange, the Jon Watts-directed threequel comes from a script by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers. Check out the trailer below
While some fans had assumed that they would gloss over the Far From Home end credits sequence, from the looks of this trailer that moment is set to have major ramifications throughout no way home as Peter seeks out Dr. Strange to undo Mysterio’s actions. The idea of Peter being unsure about having to carry the weight of his secret alone once again. Other highlights of note here are a look at Jon Favreau’s Happy Hogan, a glimpse at a certain pumpkin bomb, J Jonah Jameson, and of course our first look at Alfred Molina’s iconic Doc OCK in more than 15 years.
The trailer for Spider-Man No Way Home has been a hot topic with fandom with bevy rumors most notably regarding Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield both returning for the film. Speculation picked up once it was announced that both Jamie Foxx both reprising their roles as Electro and Dr. Octopus respectively with the latter detailing that his role picks from the end of Spider-Man 2, no doubt much to Marvel boss Kevin Feige’s chagrin. This trailer was definitely worth the wait and I’m looking forward to seeing more of these familiar foes when Spider-Man No Way Home Swings into theatres on December 17th.
