Historically, Nintendo has been known to drop a major video showcase in September. Last year saw the special Super Mario 25th Anniversary Direct. The previous year saw a 40-minute long presentation on September 4th. With the month coming to a close, many fans have anticipated a September 2021 Nintendo Direct. The tradition continues, as today Nintendo has officially confirmed their next showcase. The next Nintendo Direct will take place tomorrow, September 23rd.
