In tandem with the release of Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City, Zotac Gaming, a division of Zotac Technology Ltd, will launch a new global event, Survive with Power, which will feature Raccoon City themed hardware and holo cards. By joining this new experience, running from November 12th through December 13th, fans can join the Escape To Win mini-game to participate in the lucky draw. This new experience comes on the heels of Zotac Technology’s 15th anniversary, allowing fans to get involved in their favorite video game series in a whole new way.
Resident Evil Welcome to Raccoon City will be a reboot of the iconic franchise, which was mostly directed by Mortal Kombat’s Paul W.S. Anderson; it previously starred Fifth Element’s Milla Jovovich, alongside The Fast and the Furious’s Michelle Rodriguez and Heroes’ Ali Larter. The new film centers on a small group of ragtag survivors as they work to uncover the truth behind the Umbrella Corporation. The film stars Pirates of the Caribbean’s Dead Men Tell No Tales’ Kaya Scoledario, Ant-Man and KillJoy’s Hannah John Kamen. Code 8’s Robbie Amell and the greatest Harvey Bullock ever, Gotham’s Donal Logue. Rather than the Screen Gems Umbrella (you’re welcome), this time Sony Pictures will take care of distribution. Horror Director Johannes Roberts will succeed Anderson as Writer/Director of the franchise.
Future Collaborations
The Resident Evil series has always been a staple of the Zombie games adaptation, offering one of the few respites from a zombie genre that unfortunately hard to crack. Hopefully, the partnership with Zotac can be the beginning of more collaborations in this underrated sub-genre of film.
